Lovely to see our Year 11 at their Prom. You all looked fantastic - a lovely evening.
Our Year 7 Rugby team played the curtain raiser match and were guard of honour at the England V Italy game at Twickenham. They had a fantastic day and we are very proud of them.
Well done to our students and staff for a fantastic production, you are a credit to the Academy.
For 10 minutes each day, students and staff drop everything and read. This means the whole school community are reading at the same time, which is a wonderful statement to make, but also the start of a whole school reading culture. Students and staff are engaging very positively with new initiative, as can be seen by the photos.
It was lovely to see our ex-Year 11s at their presentation evening and to catch up with what they are doing now.
We are very proud of our new school which opened in September 2015.
Thirty-seven students from Chantry Academy made the trip, which was an extension of work undertaken in school and a continuation of work started during Holocaust Memorial Week. The students focussed on the experiences of the German people and how their lives changed under Nazi rule.
The Academy welcomes all the community to use its facilities with a range of sporting, recreation and community areas.
Special thanks to Baroness Scott of Needham Market and Ben Gummer, MP who officially opened our Academy today.
